In 2021, Lagoon unveiled a series of noteworthy updates for their highly popular Lagoon 42 catamaran. These upgrades were designed to enhance the overall comfort, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the vessel. Let’s delve into each of the listed areas to explore the improvements in detail:

  1. Helm Seat: The helm seat received a significant upgrade in the 2021 Lagoon 42 model. The new helm seat was meticulously designed to provide improved ergonomics and comfort for the captain while steering the catamaran. With enhanced cushioning and adjustability options, the helm seat ensures a more enjoyable and relaxed sailing experience.

  2. Aft Cockpit Seat: Lagoon also focused on enhancing the seating arrangement in the aft cockpit area of the Lagoon 42. The aft cockpit seat received updates to provide additional comfort and support. This upgrade allows passengers to relax and enjoy the surrounding views with increased seating comfort.

  3. Extra Comfortable Cushions: To augment the onboard comfort, Lagoon incorporated extra comfortable cushions throughout the Lagoon 42 in 2021. These upgraded cushions were specifically designed to offer enhanced support and relaxation. Whether lounging in the saloon, relaxing on the deck, or reclining in the cabins, the extra comfortable cushions contribute to an overall more luxurious and pleasant cruising experience.

  4. Cockpit Fridge: Recognizing the importance of convenience while sailing, Lagoon introduced a cockpit fridge in the 2021 model of the Lagoon 42. The addition of a dedicated fridge in the cockpit area allows for easy access to chilled beverages and snacks while enjoying the outdoors. This feature adds a touch of convenience and luxury, ensuring that refreshments are readily available for both the crew and guests.

  5. Bathroom Styling: In terms of aesthetics, Lagoon incorporated updates to the bathroom styling in the Lagoon 42. The bathrooms were given a fresh and modern design, featuring high-quality materials and finishes. The new bathroom styling not only improves the visual appeal but also adds to the overall feeling of luxury and comfort onboard.

Lorenzo says, “What they offered in terms of syndication and having a 1/5th share. I looked at other syndication companies with similar sized boats but they were all a 1/8th share or a 1/10th share and that wouldn’t have given me the usage I was after. I was also attracted to the management that syndication offers, after a day on the boat I come in and I basically walk off the boat, someone else comes and cleans it… Maintenance, servicing, registration, antifouling it’s all looked after and I don’t have to worry about any of that.”
